In 1982, Barr-Nunn Transportation was founded in the small town of Granger, just north of Des Moines, IA. In the mid 1990s, our state-of-the-art Maintenance facility and terminal building was opened. Later, a new corporate office building was opened across the street. Driver support staff in Operations, Safety, Sales, Information Technology, Human Resources, Accounting, etc. are housed here in Granger. The facility includes many amenities for our drivers, including multiple lounges, a bunk room, training facilities, fitness center, showers, and more.
