Expected home time: Run for 21 days, then home for 7 days
For this position, you must park the truck at one of our terminals and Barr-Nunn will pay to fly you home and back, or if preferred, reimburse you for your fuel home and back from our Columbus terminal, for drivers living east of I-35.

Safety-Based Bonus Opportunities
CSA Safety Bonus opportunity every 90 days, $1,075 (if you are Hazmat Endorsed) or $875 + 8 hours Paid Time Off
On-Road Safety Bonus opportunity of $650 every 90 days

Hiring Bonuses

Truck Drivers new to Barr-Nunn are eligible for one of the following options in this position, for a limited time:

Option 1 (with qualifying safety record)

Initial Transition Bonus of $1,725 (with Hazmat Endorsement) or $1,525

Additional Pay and Raises

Anniversary Bonus of $100 for each year of continuous service, paid annually
Detention pay after only 1 hour
Hazmat premium pay of $0.04/mile when hauling placarded Hazmat (less than 2% of freight is placarded)

Qualifications

A valid and current Class A CDL
8 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (6 months is sufficient if Teaming with an experienced driver-call for details)
No DWIs in the past 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen, and Human Performance Evaluation (company truck drivers only for HPE)
No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years
No drug test refusal or failure
